To Fantasy Island!…
well OK, not really, but didn’t you LOVE the way he used to say that every week?
We may not be here to make your Fantasies come true, unless of course yours involves writing, publishing and promoting your own book. If thats the case than, WELCOME TO FAN… well you get the idea.
But really, let’s talk for a minute, or so, about who we are, and why you may be here:
I’m mid 40 IT Manager in theUS, who has gotten tired of the 60 hour work week, and need an outlet.
I started working with a mentor a few years ago and he said “You NEED TO WRITE A BOOK”
AS I have a great deal of respect for this person, and I have heard this before I thought, Ok, how do I do that?
I knew I couldn’t afford to quit my job and start wearing a smoking jacket, so I did what any IT manager would do,
I started researching the Internet! On the net I found everything from “Write your book in 24 hours” to
“Send me$5000 and let ME write your book for you!”
Well, the first seemed unlikely, and the second was out of my league, so I went back to research,
finally I came across someone who really seemed to speak my language, a middle aged guy,
who worked during the day, and yet had published over 14 books.
In one of his emails he said, “Sometimes you have to realize that GOOD ENOUGH, IS.”
It took me a few minutes, but then I understood what he meant, so I started writing my book.
450 pages later, I realized I was probably doing something wrong.
I mean here I was trying to write a Business and Management guide, and I was competing with War and Peace.
So, after a great deal of research I started piecing together exactly what it is that I needed.
Now I have to tell you that this information was not cheap, or easy to come by.
As a matter of fact one of the seminars was over $10,000, but it was well worth it.
It was at that session that I found the lynchpin that pulled it all together
So I tossed my ‘encyclopedia’ and started over, and a few weeks later were ready to publish my first book.
Then a few weeks after that I was ready to publish my SECOND book.
I have just submitted my THIRD book for printing and my FOURTH book is in Copy Edit.
All 4 were written this YEAR, while maintaining my IT Managers job AND factoring in several major upgrades at work!
But I knew that just because it worked for ME didn’t mean that it would work for anyone else.
Plus I had developed this promotional system, with the idea that publishing a book is great,
but how much BETTER would it be if I had a whole tribe of rabid fans waiting to READ it!
So I went in search of a few test subjects, and found 2 in 2 very diverse ways and industries.
The first was my dog groomer, who was already being asked to go around the country
and talk about her special method of grooming, and she wanted a book that folks who saw her speak
could take home with them and understand more about what they just learned.
So we applied the 21daymethod for her and it worked like a charm!
More importantly however, she had just finished getting her son into college (with another one on his heels)
and was frustrated because although she was able to secure financing and scholarships,
his school was of absolutely no help.
So now she has a manual out for parents of kids with special abilities, whether its Football, track or Drama,
and how they can get the most help and financing to get into the colleges they want, not just what they can AFFORD.
Finally I found a woman who went from a vintage clothing store to a restaurant business and was having
amazing success in her first year, by applying her clothing techniques to promoting her restaurant,
in so doing was able to make her restaurant, not just a food place, but a destination.
We were able to publish not one, but TWO books on her business in just over 30 days.
What’s even more unusual is that both of these folks have found that the methods that we apply
to promote their books work AMAZINGLY well at promoting their businesses as well!
So please, relax take a look around, and just about every time you come back you may find that something has changed.
We are reorganizing the site, making it easier to read, as well as adding videos and audio clips.
SO please, sit back relax, and if there is anything we can do or something you want to see, do NOT hesitate
To let us know!

I feel that we should be integrating technology into he classroom because if used appropriately it can help students and teachers and make learning more interesting, fun, and easier. I feel at this moment that computers, blogs, and the Internet should not be used as the only form of teaching but I think that it helps and benefits the students and teachers. I think that with using technology you can open children’s minds, keep their attention, and explore things you never could with a book or in the classroom.Blogs in the classroom in my opinion could be a major benefit if they instructor gives the class helpful instructions and if the students understand how to use it. I think that students could help each other with questions they have and an instructor could also see these discussions and help them to. Also students could share notes that they took in case one student was not there or even if someone missed a part of the lecture. Students could also bounce ideas off each other easily and quickly without having to set up a time to meet face to face. It is also an easy way for a teacher to communicate with all there students at one time to give them updates on assignments, give helpful websites/links, or even just to make an announcement.
