  1. Why write a book? What, you had something better to do?

    February 28, 2012 by dbo355446115

I mean REALLY, you know that for the last 2, 20, and 60 years (pick one) you have had that nagging thought in the back of your head that said something about writing a book! Here are some of the ways it happens to me:

    1)   I’m sitting around watching TV and see something totally incomprehensible and I scream out, “I could write better than THAT!”

    2)   I’m actually reading someone ELSE book, and something about a sliver of   the subject matter was left unexplored or un-expounded upon and I sit up and think WOW What

    a GREAT book idea!

    3) Someone else is in situation one or two and suddenly screams out “YOU could do a better job than that!” – They know they can’t say it about   themselves because I’ll turn

around and motivate them into doing it!

    4) I come across something I wrote, or spoke about, last year or last decade, and I find that I have developed some new insights about the subject and therefore feel the

    need to write a book!

    5) I realize suddenly that there exists a great hole in the universe, about which the information or inspiration from a book would fill nicely! (More on that one later)

    6) I “figure something out” that I don’t believe has been determined in quite the same way, and that the world needs to read about it!

    7) I’m asked to create a presentation about something that will lend itself to a great book or “how to”.

    8) In trying to do something I find that I must search 22 different places on the web, 14 hardback books and a dozen different “guru’s” all to develop one

series of steps to an answer, and feel that this deserves to be written down all in one place.

    9)   I have a personal experience that affects me so profoundly that I am now compelled to write about it (Check out “Life’s Golden Ticket” by

Brendon Burchard for a GREAT example) <Amazon #0061173916>

    10) Anything else that ‘strikes my fancy’

I can hear the whiners now, “But J, I’ve never done / been / experienced / accomplished / thought / created anything that anyone would want to read about.” With an attitude like THAT you probably wont either! The other protest I hear is, “But J, aren’t their REALLY only 2 kinds of books? Fiction and Non Fiction?” Well if you insist on pigeon holing your entire life’s experience in one of two holes than yes I guess your right. But before we go down THAT path I want you to look at my list of 10 “inspirations” and write down ANYTHING that you think of that comes into your mind when you read them. Now I don’t want to hear about the Taco’s you had for lunch, instead go with the flow that starts with, “Hey yeah, I’ve had that kind of experience.”

That’s what I want to hear about. SO shoot me a comment and let me hear from your about ANY of those that you’ve experienced. AND if you determine that you do NOT want you specifics published in your comment I can make sure to “hide” those before I approve it!

In the meantime, keep on reading, and never stop writing…

  2. What the HECK are YOU talking about?

    February 24, 2012 by dbo355446115

That’s what some of you guys have asked recently. Apparently anyone who joined the party late missed the idea that on more than one occasion I may have the tendency to ramble on in a direction OTHER than the one you may have wanted me to go! That being said I have a confession to make. What you have been reading the past several weeks have been posts that were written in early January. Now if you operate your own blog that may not be so shocking, but to many of my readers, who are not as technologically savvy as my co workers and I, this is something that any good blogger will do if he knows he has something else coming up ion his life that he needs to take care of, and which could infringe upon his or her writing time.

However on the flip side of that coin is the fact that I have used the past few weeks as a test bed to something that I have spoken about lightly yet some folks swear by, that is PLR. For those of you unfamiliar with the term, PLR is ‘public label rights’ (there are several other definitions), these are articles, books or magazines, or ‘special reports’ that were written on a particular subject and then ‘released to the public’ without copy write. Several folks who teach writing actually claim that you can write an entire book like that, but I’m here to tell you that the effort it took ME to make those posts of good content and ‘sound like me’ I could ALMOST have started from scratch. However, even with all the comments I have gotten none of them said anything about THAT, so we will explore this more in the future.

However, with my issues being past I think that its time we got back to the basics with a series I’d like to call “3 Steps to writing a book!” and to be fair I will even give you a peek AT those 3 steps:

    1. Why do you want to write a book?
    2. How should you write your book?
    3. How should you PUBLISH your book?

Now if you’ve been with me for almost ANY length of time you should know that I am preparing on giving you FAR more than just 3 quick questions and 3 short answers, BUT I think that you will find this to be a GREAT beginning!

In the meantime, keep on writing…

  3. …Well ALMOST any excuse…

    February 20, 2012 by dbo355446115

We are developing a new series of ideas that I wanted to share with you. If you like what you see here find out more at:

    www.any-excuse.com

My wife and I start work at about the same time every day, but my schedule is slightly less rigid than hers, so for the moment it’s my responsibility to drop Charlie off at school.  For those of you new to my universe, Charlie is my 5 yo and this is his first year of kindergarten. If you have not been blessed with the joy that is children, let me just say that I have frequently stated that “If I had known it was this much fun, I’d have started sooner.” Of course I will also admit that had I had children earlier I probably would not be as patient as I am now, although I am FAR from Sainthood, as my son will attest.

However one difference that I strive to make every day is to demonstrate by ‘doing.’ We tell our kids to look both ways before they cross the street, but, do you? Think about it, your sitting in a 2000 pound car, getting ready to cross a busy highway, how often do you “really” take the time to look both ways, as you no doubt tell your kids to do. I know the ONE time I didn’t; my son said from the back seat, “hey dad, did you see that light?” He was being as polite as a child can be, while making his point.

That being said, what about YOUR morning routine? Tomorrow, make a mental note of how many times you say to your child, “Come on, hurry up, or were going to be late.” Now in my situation I could ALMOST make a valid reason (excuse), for saying that, see my son’s school has gotten smart, they are so tired of kids being late that they now penalize the parents! Your child had 5 excuses per quarter. After that they (you) get charged $1 for every time they are late, after that its $5 and then there is a 2 day at home suspension. They understand, that as a private school, its NOT the bus drivers fault, they don’t have one.

But back to the subject at hand, how often do you allow your child, regardless of their age, to be a kid? For example, this morning, Charlie wanted something different for breakfast, cereal, and no milk; normally he’s a pancake kind of kid. So cereal no milk here we come, cup of chocolate milk on the side, and as I lay it down I say, ok, now in 20 minutes you need to be doing “X.” What X is doesn’t really matter; Charlie is a Melancholy personality so you don’t ‘surprise’ him with things that have to be done NOW. He gets that from his mom. So he has, as he sees it, plenty of time, so he eats a piece of cereal, watches TV, eats another piece, you get the idea.

So at 10 minutes before the next event, I remind him, ‘hey, you got 10 minutes’, he looks up, shoves two pieced of cereal in his mouth, “OK dad.” And goes back to the TV. Five minutes later I walk past and notice that not much cereal is gone, “Hey you know you have 5 minutes before X, you need to eat, we can take that with us, but I know you don’t like to eat in the car.” He looks up at me shocked at the idea that all that time has vanished, “Dad, I think I want milk on my cereal.” I look down at him, knowing that he would have preferred it from the start, “well bud, if you want to have some after school, we can put some milk on it, but right now you just don’t have time.” He starts to protest, at which point I remind him of X and why we do X at that certain point in the day, and now he’s all about X.

We are at school, and I’m walking him up to “his line”, that’s where he and his friends wait every morning for the teacher to come and collect them. He looks up at me and says, “Dad, do you have to leave right away?” Now he knows I’m on my way to work, but because of a recent accident, he also knows that I can sometimes be flexible in my leaving time, so I look down at him and say, “Why, do you need me to wait with you?” Understand that the “final whistle” had been blown so we were less than 5 minutes from his teacher coming to collect his class. What can you do in 5 minutes that REALLY makes a difference? In an elementary school parking lot at 8am, you can get in your car and wait in line with every other parent rushing off to work. Of course, having done that you will also have the picture in your mind of a very sad faced little boy, trying desperately to choke back his tears.

Why does a 5yo who has been attending school for over 5 months get scared some days? Who knows, who cares? I’m dad, and you know I can do in 5 minutes? I can pick up a little boy, have him wrap his arms and legs around my whole body and have get a kiss no the cheek. Then I get to hear, very quietly, “I know I’m going to miss you, but I know I’m going to see you this afternoon.” This is something Charlie and I say to each other each morning before we part, it’s also the reason why, like last week, that it drives me absolutely insane when my j.o.b. forces me to stay late. Not because I don’t like working late, but because I made a promise that I now have to not keep! So I repeat it back to him, give him a big smooch on the cheek and he’s fine, he gets down and starts talking to all his friends, I could be invisible at that point, or so I think. Because when the teacher does come get him, and the line starts moving, he turns and with a HUGE grin, yells “bye daddy, I love you,” and I repeat THAT back to him, just as loudly.

Then as I get in my car I see the thing that breaks my heart the most, Emily’s mom, or Sanjay’s dad, or the Twin’s nanny, has screeched to a halt at the end of the line, and practically shoved the child out the door, while yelling, “run, hurry, or your going to be late.” I’m not the most patient dad in the world, and I’m not the GREATEST planner in the world, and I know, stuff happens, you get a flat, you get a ticket, and you get juice spilled in your briefcase. But I don’t EVER want my child’s last words heard by me, yelled in haste as I ENCOURAGE them to run across a crowded parking lot or busy street.

So yes, use any excuse, pick any ‘reason’ you want, but don’t EVER pick that one.

  4. SEO Copywriting Service

    February 16, 2012 by dbo355446115

There are a great many companies that offer SEO copywriting service.  This is a very competitive field but it is growing due to the demand and need for good web content.  Unfortunately as the demand grows, so does the price. This can be good and bad.

SEO copywriting is a little different and some folks feel its more difficult than many other forms of copywriting due to the demands placed upon the writer.  Often when you’re writing copy you are writing for a particular audience and know what the audience wants.  This is where SEO copywriting can be a little more difficult is because you are writing for a couple of different audiences at the same time.  You must walk the tightrope in being sure that the web content that you develop fits with what the search engines search bots are looking for when indexing sites but your web content must also entice your target audience to buy your products or services. However this also will give you GREAT practice at learning how to write for several different and diverse readers at the same time.

To become good at SEO copywriting service, you will want to focus on learning what the important keys to building a good website are.

The first key is being sure that you have very good web content that the search bots are looking for and that your audience desires.

The second key is to make sure that you develop good back links.  Back links are developed when other web sites link back to your web site. This helps the search bots find your website and index it potentially higher in the search engine rankings.

These two ideas are ones that we have explored from the angle of you using them to promote YOUR site and products, but now you can start to see how they can also be used when writing for other folks. The same search tools that you used for YOUR keywords will lead you down the path of your prospective readers and/or copywriting employers.

There are many different companies that offer this service so you will want to develop a particular niche in which you can focus.  By learning the common steps of SEO copywriting, you will have a general basis to focus on many different industries. However if you focus  on one particular niche, this could allow you to have specialized knowledge in a competitive advantage over many other competing firms.

  5. Improving the Search Engine Rankings of Your Blog

    February 14, 2012 by dbo355446115

Authors who are interested in reaching a large audience with their sites  should consider paying special attention to search engine optimization of their blog. Reaching a large audience may be a priority for a number of different reasons. One of the obvious reasons to attempt to generate increased traffic to to your site is to generate a profit, and in our case its to build up your audience BEFORE your book is even available.

Authors who rely on high blog traffic for their income or advertising are obviously interested in increasing traffic. However, authors who create their sites to promote a cause or other projects may also be interested in increasing traffic simply to allow their message to reach a larger audience. Regardless of the reason to want to increase traffic, one of the best ways to do this is by optimizing the blog for search engines.

Why Search Engine Rankings are Important

The importance of high search engine rankings is they can contribute to increased Internet traffic to the blog. This is because folks who use search engines to find information on a particular topic are much more likely to visit websites which appear on the first page of the search results than they are to visit websites which appear on subsequent pages of the search. However, most folks are not likely to search through more than a page or two of the search results when looking for more information on a particular subject.

High search engine rankings help act as free advertisement your website. This is because many website users rely on popular search engines to assist them in finding useful information on the Internet. The search engines apply complex algorithms to evaluate websites and rank them accordingly for specific search terms. As a result Internet users put a great deal of value on the search results produced and trust these results to lead them to the best available websites relevant to the keywords they specified in the search.

Tips for Optimizing a Blog for Search Engines

One of the most common ways to optimize a website for search engines is through the use of relevant keywords. Specifically the practice of applying specific keyword densities to the content of the blog is a common search engine optimization tactic employed. In a nutshell, find words that folks commonly use to search for what you are writing about and use those words in titles, headers and throughout your writing. Authors who attempt to optimize their websites do not always agree on how often you should be using keywords but many believe a percentage of approximately 2%-3% is more than enough.

Another method for optimizing a web site is to place relevant keywords into the code of the website. This includes the title tags andMETAtags. This is important because search engines often consider the prominence of keywords when evaluating a website. This refers to the location in which the keywords first appear. Placing keywords early in the content of the website is helpful but it is important to note the search engines view the code first so keywords appearing before the body of the blog will be crawled first by the search engines.  If this is getting TOO technical you can usually find a High School orCollege student (maybe in your house?) who will show you how to do this for as little as $20.

Authors can also help to increase their search engine rankings by generating back links to their site. Back links are the links given from one website to another. These links enable you to keep track of other sites on the Internet that link or point to your site. For instance, suppose Bob has a site that Joan finds interesting. Joan then goes to her own site and writes something of her own, linking back to Bob’s site. Now Bob’s site will automatically show that Joan has linked to it.

This can be accomplished in a number of different ways. One way to do this is to find other websites willing to place a link to your site on their website. This is beneficial because many search engines factor the number of links to a website into their ranking algorithm because these links are considered to be one website vouching for the validity of another website. Some website owners may be willing to do this in return for a link to their website on your site. This is known as reciprocal linking and some search engines may not value this link as highly as a link which is not reciprocated. There are also some link exchange programs but these links may not be beneficial because many search engines consider the rank of the website linking to your blog. Therefore, if the website linking to your blog does not rank well, the back link will not improve search engine rankings significantly.

  6. Optimizing Your Site for Search Engines

    February 13, 2012 by dbo355446115

Writers who are interested in building high traffic to their sites and maintaining a successful area should pay particular attention to search engine optimization techniques which can help to improve the search engine rankings of their web sites. Search engines all employ some type of ranking algorithm which is used to determine the order in which websites are returned when an Internet user searches for information on a particular topic. However, not all search engines use the same algorithm for this purpose. As a result there is no simple solution to optimizing a blog for high rankings on all search engines. There are a few tips though which can be useful with most search engines. These tips include using relevant keywords, generating back links to your blogs and using image tags in a beneficial way.

I’ve had several folks ask why I am spending so much time on the subject of a site for your writing? It’s quite simple actually, getting your book published on Amazon is actually pretty easy, getting your book on the shelves of Barnes and Nobles or Walmart is NOT. But if you had a method that did the following, how much attention would YOU give it:

    1)      Advertises the book your writing AND the ones you’re going to write AND the ones that you wrote before?

    2)      Act as your OWN virtual store that can take orders, take payment and even arrage shipping if you desire?

    3)      Act as a repository for new and exciting programs, books, offers or even Author Events that you may be promoting.

    4)      Give you a chance to start your own business for almost nothing

How Images Can Improve Search Engine Rankings

Authors should also be aware that any pictures used on their blog can be used to improve search engine rankings with some search engines. This aspect of search engine optimization is often overlooked because many folks believe the pictures are not viewed by search engines. While this is true the search engines do read the code of the blog in addition to the content on the site. This means the search engine will view the information provided in the ‘image tags.”  Authors  can take advantage of this by using the image tags to provide relevant keywords which can bolster search engine rankings. However, care should be taken to ensure the keywords used in these tags also accurately describe the image because blog visitors will often see the text included in these tags when they scroll over a picture on the blog.  Of course the CAPTIONS that you use under and to refer to your images are moretext that the search engines will search and include in your rankings!

  7. Maintaining a Successful Site

    February 7, 2012 by dbo355446115

Creating a blog should be relatively simple. However, maintaining a successful can be slightly more challenging. This is because there are so many different factors which can contribute to the success of a site. Some of these factors include the subject of the blog, the popularity of the blog and even the aesthetic layout of the blog. Additionally, the ability to properly promote your site and reach a large audience of interested Internet users will also have a profound impact on your success. Although there is no one simple formula for creating and maintaining a successful site (I knowCircuitCitysure wishes there were), here are some basic tips which can help to ensure a higher than average return rate.

    Posting New  Entries Regularly

The importance of posting new entries on a regular basis cannot be underestimated. This is so important because regular postings offer dedicated blog visitors an incentive to keep returning to the blog. Readers may visit a site originally by chance but become committed to returning to regularly based on the content which is provided. If you allow the site to become stagnant, the readers do not have motivation to keep coming back. However, if there are new posts on a regular basis, visitors are likely to return often in anticipation of new postings.  Probably the BEST way to establish this is when you first develop your site, plan out what is a good schedule for YOU. I know some authors post once a week because they find at least one of their “writing hours” compromised or just not “feeling it.” Other post every day. The challenge is having a lot of enthusiasm in the beginning and then tapering off as time goes on. Folks who got used to reading something new every Friday, now find that they have to wait 2 sometimes 3 weeks, and then they fill the time in with something else!

The length as well as the depth of a post can vary considerably based on the subject of the the expectations of the target audience. However, in many cases even a relatively short entry, offering only a small amount of information may be enough to keep readers interested. This can be useful when the blogger is unable to provide in depth posts but in the long run, blog readers are looking for a certain degree of sustenance and will likely expect the blog to be updated with new posts regularly. Furthermore they will come to expect a certain voice and quality to the blog posts so bloggers who enlist the use of guest bloggers should carefully screen guest bloggers to ensure they are capable of posting blogs the audience will appreciate.

    Understanding the Blog Audience

Successful authors should also be adept at understanding their audience. (remind me to teach more about AVATARS  in the future – and NO I don’t mean the blue guys)  Most successful authors focus on a rather exclusive niche which draws a unique set of visitors. By keeping the information posted related to this niche, helps to ensure the audience will remain interested in the blog. However, the subject matter is not the only important aspect related to understanding the target audience.

You should also be well aware of the type of information the readers are seeking and the way in which they prefer to have the information provided. This is important because some new readers may enjoy lengthy pieces while others may prefer posts which are brief and to the point. Still other blog visitors may prefer to have posts provided as bulleted points in an easy to read manner. Providing the information in a way in which the visitors can process the information easily is as important as providing quality information.

In my intial training on this I talked about your 108 questions and answers and how you could best use them. In brief lets review: Anything up to 120 characters (want to leave room for your sig) should be sent out as a tweet. Anything more than that, but less that 250, should go out in an email, and any question/answer longer than 250 words can be a chapter and a blog post!

    Evaluating Changes to the Blog

Finally, all successful authors know how to make changes to their site carefully and evaluate the effects these changes have on their traffic. This is critical because if your site is already successful you  can doom it to failure if you makes a change which is not appreciated by the dedicated readers and does not address the concerns of the readers. One of the BIGGEST mistakes I have ever seen is one where an author taped a very professional looking video talking about their book and put it on their OPENING page, and turned the volume all the way UP! Now all the readers she had who read her site from work got such nasty looks from the folks around them, that they stopped reading all together. To avoid this potential problem be careful to only make one change at a time and to allow ample time to evaluate the effect the change has on website traffic as well as the comments from readers before deciding whether to reverse the change or make additional changes.

  8. Products to Make Blogging Easier

    February 4, 2012 by dbo355446115

As I have worked my way through this series I have gotten some feedback that’s been good, and some that’s been, shall we say “whiney.” Come on we all know the song, “It’s so HARD, It’s too expensive, I’m not a techno geek, I don’t know how” and then there’s MY favorite (all together now) “I don’t have time.” Well if you remember when we started this journet we talked about the fact that we all gave the time to do those things that are important to us, and if you can just make writing more important than say “Barnaby Jones” then you probably DO have the time. However for those who may STILL have a challenge I present the following:

There are an assortment of products which can simplify the process of blogging. Although blogging is not a difficult process there can be some aspects of blogging which are overwhelming to new bloggers or bloggers who do not have a great deal of Internet experience. These products can be very beneficial to the Author who is blogging by simplifying the design process and helping to make the blog more appealing to their readers.

    Blogging Software Programs

Blogging software programs are some of the most obvious programs which make blogging easier. These programs are readily available and many of them are free to use. Blogging software programs can greatly simplify the process of publishing a blog especially if the author employs the templates included in these programs. In some cases the act of publishing a blog once the blog has been set up may be as simple as typing the text of the blog into a text editor and pressing a button to publish the blog. However, there will be some work required upfront to set up the layout of the blog.

Even the design process is greatly simplified by these programs especially if you choose to use the templates in the program. You may only have to scroll through a list of options and select those which you find the  most appealing. Based on these selections the software will generate the blog with the appropriate layout, colors, fonts and even advertising options (if you choose to use any). More ambitious folks may opt to utilize their writing skills to customize these templates but this is not necessary and the blog will function sufficiently without any additional customization.

    Website Design Software

Website design software can also be a useful tool for authors who want to create a blog which is aesthetically appealing but also helps get the word out about their books. These software programs make it possible for writers who may not have any design experience to create a site with a unique appearance. When using this type of software you  can scroll through options, make changes on the fly, preview changes and even upload photos for use in the blog. As these changes are made in the software design program the code for these design options is automatically generated, updated and stored as necessary.

    Keyword Generators

Authors who are trying to attract a great deal of web traffic to a website will also want to use some type of keyword generator to assist them in determining which keywords they should be using in their blog. You may want to make the blog interesting and informative as a priority but the judicious use of keywords throughout the blog and in the code of the blog can contribute to higher search engine rankings for the blog. This is important because high search engine rankings often translate to higher traffic. This is because Internet users heavily rely on search engines to assist them in finding the best websites which pertain to certain keywords which are used during searches. These high search engine rankings essentially act as free advertising for you because Internet users expect the highest ranking websites to be the most informative websites so they are likely to visit blogs which rank well with search engines as opposed to blogs which are buried on later pages of search results.

  9. Promoting Your Site

    February 1, 2012 by dbo355446115

Blogging can be a great deal of fun for some bloggers and in our business it can also become a source of advertising and therefore income. Whether this income is earned through an AdSense campaign, paid advertisements, affiliate marketing or some other type of revenue generating source one of the key elements to maximizing this profit is by driving greater traffic to the blog. This is because the more visitors the blog receives the more opportunities there are for the blogger to have visitors click through the advertisements in the blog. There are a few basic techniques which bloggers can rely on to promote their blog and increase traffic to their blog.

    Active Participation in Message Boards

Participation in message boards which relate to your  topic is actually one very simple way for authors  to drive traffic to their blog. Most Message Boards, or forums, allow you to develop your own “signature block” , just like you might have on your email. Yours should simply say something like: For more of my thoughts and ideas expressed on the web, head on over to www.authors.blog.com and check out whats coming next! However, one caveat to using this type of promotion is to avoid violating the rules of the message board. This is important because some message boards have strict regulations regarding the inclusion of links to other websites on the message board. Failure to follow these guidelines may result in you being banned from the message board and may also cause other message board users to not think highly of what youre writing. So make your signature inviting but not overt advertising

Another careful consideration for you is to avoid posting the web address to your blog in a way which will be considered spam by other message board users. This is important because other message board users are likely to not visit the blog if they believe the blog owner is simply spamming the message board. This can be avoided by including the link to the blog in the signature and ensuring the posts made on the message board are informative and of interest to the other message board users. Building a reputation as a useful contributor to the message board will be beneficial to enticing other users of the message board to visit the blog.  The one thing most everyone hates is the “new guy” on a forum writing a dozen messages in each section saying “Hey I’m a hot shot writer check me out at www.hotsnotwriter.com

    Optimizing Your Blog

Search engine optimization is another factor which you should also carefully consider. Optimizing the blog for search engines can be beneficial because improved search engine rankings often lead to increased blog traffic. Depending on the amount of competition on the subject rising to the top of the search engine rankings may not always be easy. Authors who have a blog with a very popular subject may face stiff competition for search engine rankings from other blogs and websites which may have the means to hire professionals in the search engine optimization industry to assist them in achieving high rankings.

However, there are some steps you  can take to boost rankings. Some of these steps include researching and using relevant keywords naturally throughout the blog postings, incorporating these keywords into the title,METAand image tags and avoiding black hat optimizing techniques which could result in the blog being penalized by search engines.  Probably the easiest way to climb the rankings is through keeping your site ACTIVE.  Remember one book that I was promoting, I got the web site/blog for it to #1 in the google search for the subject in ONE WEEK, just by being a very active writer on my site, and inviting others t do the same. BE AWARE however that there are HUNDREDS of “companies” who all seem to be selling the “magic button” to get your site to #1. Some of these work, and some don’t, look for aLOTof reviews before you part with your currency.

    Keeping Your Blog Interesting

Finally, one of the simplest ways a blog owner can help to drive traffic to his blog is by regularly updating the blog and keeping it interesting. This is important because a blog which is interesting is much more likely to not only maintain blog traffic but also generate new traffic. This is because readers who are interested in the posts on the blog are not only likely to keep coming back to the blog but are also likely to recommend the blog to other members of the target audience. This type of word of mouth advertising can be very beneficial because those who have an interest in the content of a particular blog also typically have friends who would also be interested in the blog. Once one blog owner recommends a blog to one or more friends, these new blog visitors are also likely to recommend the blog to others if they find it to be interesting, useful or otherwise worthwhile.
