ok, so its book 3, I just LOVE that phrase
When last we saw our intrepid hero, he had JUST promised to allow you to look over his shoulder while he wrote book #3 in his “Remote Control Career” series. This of course disregards the fact that book number 4 is more than 75% complete and the more research he does for the NEW fictional piece I was recently inspired to create the more involved I get in THAT. It also pays NO attention to a restructuring at his company, the promotion of not 1 but TWO businesses, and raising a 5yo and having a home life. That being said, lets get started!
Now I do have a slight edge in that, based on my first two books, Remote Control Professional and Remote Control Manager, I do have a slight edge. I have my title, and my main ideas, the title of course is “Remote Control Entrepreneur, what to do when your ready to start that business called YOUR OWN.” That second part being the subtitle. The dis advantage of course is that this is NOT a “building block on the other two. What I mean by that is that although your natural progression would be Professional, Manager and Entrepreneur, the content of Entrepreneur will not rely on the content of the other two the way that they relied on each other.
So lets get started where ALL great books with a title a central theme and a direction should start, the QUESTIONS!

2) What will it help them do?
3) When should the implement this information?
4) Where should this info fit in their business plan?
5) Why will this benefit them?
6) How will this benefit them?
So lets see what we have for answers:
1) Who will benefit from this book?
ANSWER: The information contained herein is designed to benefit anyone who is currently in a career where they work for someone else and are looking to start their own business. Additionally this information could be beneficial to anyone who is currently IN business for themselves but are finding that they are not achieving what they want in the timeframe that they want.
2) What will it help them to do?
ANSWER: If they are looking to start a company of their own, this will give them the tools they need to get started properly as well as avoid some of the most common mistakes that HALT most folks from getting started. Also if they are already in a business of their own, yet have run into some of these mistake we will equip them with the tools they need to overcome and get past these issues.
3) When should they implement this information?
ANSWER: Ideally folks will read this book and start to implement the information as soon as they even CONSIDER starting their own business. However, the tools and tips that we will be uncovering are such that no matter what stage you are at, beginning, middle or going down for the third time, they can find some assistance.
4) Where should this information fit in the business plans?
ANSWER: Very much like #3 we would hope that they would put these in before they ever begin anything other than dreaming of their own business. But since we know that most folks are procrastinators, this section could be focused on how to insert our tools into an already existing business.
5) Why will this benefit them?
ANSWER: As my father always told me, its not just EXPERIENCE that is the best teacher. The VERY best teacher in the world is OTHER PEOPLE EXPERINECE. That’s where we can help, with over 30 years of experience in developing, duplicating and running businesses of our own, our toolbox should be able to save them several hurdles as well as several thousand dollars in mistakes not made.
6) How will this benefit them?
ANSWER: By allowing them to focus on PROGRESS rather than recovery from errors most Entrepreneurs should find themselves DECADES ahead of where they would be without them. Remember college teaches you how to “get a job,” not run a business.
We did it again didn’t we? My instructions CLEARLY state that the answers should be short succinct and potentially TWEETABLE! So lets see if we can run this through the distillation interpreter (I think my wife calls it the BS detector) and see what we get:
1) The tops and tools contained herein will benefit anyone who has ever considered owning their own business or is currently building their own business.
2) In a plain and simple manner we can demonstrate where some of the “issues” are hidden and how best to avoid them.
3) Whether just starting out, or on your 10th anniversary you will find ideas here that could radically change what you do, and how you do it.
4) Ideally we want to be there for you in the beginning but you will find that this information will help you every step of the journey.
5) Benefitting from someone else’s experience can be the fastest way to get over your own obstacles.
6) When you start with the answers to questions you don’t even know to ask, you are head and shoulders above the competition.
